VACANCIES AT THE MUNICH CHAMBER ORCHESTRA
From the chamber music formation to the slim symphony orchestra. From baroque to music of the immediate present. From subscription concerts in what is probably Munich’s most beautiful concert hall to experimental formats. Plus guest performances and international tours: The Munich Chamber Orchestra (MKO) is a dynamic collective of independent thinkers and performers. It offers its employees a wide range of development opportunities.
The orchestra is characterized by a particularly ambitious programming, which often juxtaposes world premieres and contemporary music with the standard repertoire. Since the 2022/23 season, the MKO has been working with three Associated Conductors: Enrico Onofri, Bas Wiegers and Jörg Widmann. They are joined by a number of musician friends with whom the orchestra works regularly, including Isabelle Faust, Nicolas Altstaedt, Ilya Gringolts, Vilde Frang, Christian Tetzlaff and Alexander Lonquich.
