“This first CD collaboration between conductor and orchestra has produced recordings for the ages. The star violinist Isabelle Faust as soloist in the ‘Haffner’ Serenade puts the icing on the cake.” CD review at Concerti

‘[…] and the Munich Chamber Orchestra manages to convey this to us without mannerisms, even in such frequently played pieces as the “Kleine Nachtmusik”. Album of the week at NDR

“When Enrico Onofri and the Munich Chamber Orchestra play Mozart’s cheerful marches for the summer serenade, Salzburg flair immediately comes to mind. […] With the Munich Chamber Orchestra he has achieved what he describes in the booklet as his goal: to fulfil a ‘historically inspired interpretation’ with life.” Album of the week at BR

Our latest CD release with Isabelle Faust and Enrico Onofri

With his serenades, Mozart continued the old tradition of open-air music and brought this genre to perfection at the highest level. This first collaboration between Enrico Onofri and the Munich Chamber Orchestra with harmonia mundi brings together Mozart’s most famous contributions to the genre: Eine kleine Nachtmusik, the ‘Posthorn Serenade’ (so called because of the instrument’s expressive solo) and the sublime ‘Haffner Serenade’ – with Isabelle Faust as the star guest!
