The Munich Chamber Orchestra’s mission is to enable a diverse audience to experience music together as an inspiring, constantly surprising, enjoyable and intense experience. With its varied concert programmes, Munich’s ‘smallest large orchestra’ sets international standards in works from the Baroque to the present day. High-calibre soloists are also regular guests.

The MKO is ‘at home’ with its popular concert series in the Prinzregententheater in Bogenhausen, but its night concerts in the Rotunda of the Pinakothek der Moderne and its performances at other venues in Munich, for example in the Sendlinger Himmelfahrtskirche, also enjoy cult status. Audiences love the special energy and unmistakable atmosphere of MKO concerts.
